WORLD LEGEND
Romania

Gheorgie Hagi about playing in the Legends Charity Game:
"Representing Romania at the Legends Charity Game is truly special. This event is a fantastic opportunity to raise funds for those less fortunate — people who need our support now more than ever. With 60,000 fans in the stadium and countless more watching from home, it promises to be a fierce and passionate contest. And take it from someone who’s played for both Barcelona and Real Madrid — I know what a real rivalry feels like!"
About
The Maradona of the Carpathians, Gheorghe Hagi is considered by many to be the greatest Romanian football player of all time.
Known for his creative play, Hagi had a playing career that spanned over three decades and had the luxury of playing for both Real Madrid and Barcelona before becoming a club icon at Galatasaray.
Many Romanians will never forget what Hagi did for the Romanian National Team at the 1994 World Cup, guiding the team to the quarter-finals after knocking out Argentina in the last 16 and earning a spot in the Team of the Tournament for his performances.
