The Legends Charity Game is a highly anticipated match between Portugal Legends vs. World Legends, featuring some of the biggest names in the history of football. The Legends will compete in front of 60,000 Spectators, and in front of millions of people that will watch the game online / on TV.
Given the Champions League is played the same week, the game will be played at either Estádio da Luz (Benfica Stadium) or José Alvalade Stadium (Sporting Lisbon Stadium), which will be revealed in August when the schedule is released.
The Legends Charity Game is more than a game, it’s a rallying cry for unity, compassion, and purpose. Every goal scored, every cheer from the stands, and every donation raised will help transform lives across Ukraine, Portugal and around the world.
The aim is to raise over €1,000,000 for the selected charities.

Cáritas Portuguesa is a Lisbon-based charity with an international sensibility that offers critical support to marginalised communities fighting issues such as poverty and inadequate emergency relief
International Alert
International Alert brings people and communities together across divides to tackle the root causes of conflict and build lasting peace.
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS)
In response to the war in Ukraine, the Red Cross has been at the frontline, delivering urgent medical care, shelter, food, and psychological support to those affected communities.
Sport Global Charitable Foundation is a restricted fund under the auspices of Prism the Gift Fund (UK registered charity with charity number 1099682). All of the profits from the Legends Charity Game will support the Sport Global Charitable Foundation’s beneficiary charities across a range of causes including the Ukrainian Red Cross Society and Caritas Portugal.

Given the Champions League is played the same week, we are working with both Benfica and Sporting Lisbon to use the Stadium of the Club that will not be playing at home that week.

Estádio José Alvalade is the home stadium of Sporting Clube de Portugal. It's located in Lisbon and has a capacity of over 50,000 spectators. The stadium is known for its modern design, including a bowl-like structure with four stands and two tiers.
