Petr Čech
Goalkeeper
WORLD LEGEND
Czech Republic

Petr Čech about playing in the Legends Charity Game:
"The Legends Charity Game is more than reliving old battles – it’s about coming together to raise money and awareness for some truly amazing causes. It’s an honor to be invited back onto the pitch, and I hope we can make just as big an impact off the field as we do on it."

About
Petr Čech is widely regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers of his generation. Renowned for his exceptional shot-stopping, composure, and record-breaking clean sheets, Čech became the foundation of some of the most dominant defensive units in modern football.
He first made his name at Sparta Prague and Rennes, but it was at Chelsea where he reached legendary status. Signing in 2004, Čech immediately transformed the club’s fortunes, winning the Premier League in his debut season with a record 24 clean sheets, part of a defence that conceded a record 15 goals in the league. Over the next decade, he became the Blues’ most reliable presence between the posts, collecting a host of domestic and European trophies.
Čech later moved across London to Arsenal, adding further silverware and he left an indelible mark on English football.
At international level, he remains the Czech Republic’s most capped player, representing his country at multiple European Championships and a World Cup, serving as captain and leader throughout his career.
